# Market Making

Every price on Longshot comes from a market maker. When a taker submits an RFQ, it streams to subscribed makers who compete to fill it. Best price wins.

### Why make on Longshot

**Fully hedgeable.** Markets use the same resolution criteria as Polymarket or Kalshi, so you can offset leg-by-leg on the other side, on perp venues, or internally.

**Zero maker fees in v1.** You pay nothing to quote and nothing to fill. Longshot takes a share of maker PnL instead—you pay when you win.
