# Resolution & Payouts

### How markets resolve

Every market has a defined outcome and the listed source in the UI that settles it. When the event ends, the outcome is recorded and your ticket settles to a win or a loss.

Single-leg slips resolve after their event ends. Combos resolve when the last leg ends. For combos, you will watch the earlier legs settle in your portfolio while the slip stays open.

### Winning

Winning slips pay out automatically—your entry amount plus your winnings, minus the fee. No claiming is necessary.

Losing slips pay nothing.

### Fees

Charged only on winners:

* 75 bps on single-legs
* 250 bps on combos

### Available vs. reserved balance

* **Available** — what you can stake or withdraw right now
* **Reserved** — what's locked in open tickets or in-flight quotes

Reserved funds move back to available when a slip resolves or a quote expires.

### Voided markets

If a market can’t be settled, it voids and money will be sent back to your account.

If markets are voided, funds are returned to the user's account.
